DEGUMA neo at DKT
Once again DEGUMA looks back on a successful participation in this year’s German Rubber Conference (DKT). For the first time in its history the company presented a new machine developed in-house at the most important German trade fair for rubber production: DEGUMA neo mixing mill. The advantages of this new type of machinery are compact design, energy efficiency, and an effective price-performance ratio combined with high quality. In addition, the machine is built in accordance with the latest European safety regulations.
The newly presented drive concept was received with great interest: this kind of mixing mill from DEGUMA is run by electric single-drives which are called torque motors. This results in a low noise level, a breaking angle of max. 10° and immediately opening rolls in case of emergency. The trade visitors were able to convince themselves of that – conversations next to the running mixing mill were not a problem at all.
Besides, with torque motors energy conservation of approx. 30 % is possible and regular maintencance is not necessary anymore.
The four days trade fair resulted in the outlook of future deals and projects, maintaining long-term business relationships and networking with potential customers. So DEGUMA will be present on the next DKT in 2021, too.
This year the DKT achieved a record attendance: more than 4.400 experts and managers from the worldwide rubber business visited the world biggest trade fair of its kind. The DKT is well known for its absolute concentration on the rubber processing industry in all its facets. The next DKT will take place in 2021 in Nuremberg.
