New sales associate
We’re pleased to announce that Karina Meyer-Welker has joined our sales team. After absolving a training period she is now a full member of our sales team and at your disposal with her expertise.
Dear Ms. Meyer-Welker, what tasks and responsibilities do you have at DEGUMA?
I am responsible for sales and distribution and thus for bid proposal management, order management as well as the complete order fulfillment.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Kieselbach, Thuringia. After studying in Giessen and working in different places throughout Germany I came back to Kieselbach to live there with my family.
What experiences do you have and what kind of expertise are you bringing to the team?
I gained 14 years of experience in the sales department of different internationally operating manufacturers of special purpose machinery. The area of responsibilities was simliar to what I do now at DEGUMA. So I am bringing experience and expertise in acquisition, customer support, calculation and bid proposal management, order fulfillment as well as invoicing.
Which activity do you like the most at DEGUMA?
It is not only one acitivity, it’s the whole package of different activities that makes it. Selling overhauled and modernised machines and equipment is complex and every machine is special. So the job is full of variety. Futhermore, I really appreciate the combination of working indepentendly and working in a team and across departments.
What is it that motivates you the most about your job?
Satisfied customers!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I really appreciate the beautiful landscape of the area I live in and when I got some spare time I enjoy spending time in nature and being active outdoors.
